Photodegradation of Rhodamine-B Dye under Natural Sunlight using CdO

چکیده

The present study includes synthesis of CdO thin film by simple and cost effective chemical bath deposition method. Cadmium monochloroaceatate were used for preparation film. structural, optical properties investigated with the help X-ray diffraction (XRD) UV-Vis NIR double beam spectrometry. XRD studies revealed that annealed shows crystalline in nature having 48.4 nm size. band gap was found to be 2.13 eV. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images sphere like structure which is closely arranged each other. presence functional group confirmed Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR). Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area analysis confirm formation a mesoporous 6.01 m2/g 31.96 average pore diameter. photocatalytic activity prepared checked using Rhodamine-B as model dye under natural sunlight 48%.
